This is an essential tool for shops that work on late model BMW engines that have a VANOS cam synchronizing device. On the 2001 and newer BMW E46 models with twin overhead cams, this device locks to the VANOS preventing it from moving. It is a copy of the factory tool.
Important, do not attempt to use unless you have access to factory repair manuals. Incorrect use can damage the engine!
